Matt Greenberg

At ZZehl & Associates Injury & Accident Lawyers, Matt is fulfilling his lifelong dream of helping individuals and families after serious and catastrophic injuries. He focuses on trucking accidents, Jones Act and maritime cases, oilfield accidents, and catastrophic workplace accidents and explosions. Matt received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from Abilene Christian University. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School, where he made the Dean’s List, the Order of the Barristers, and earned the highest grade in Advanced Criminal Practice & Procedure. His Bankruptcy Moot Court Team won the 2012 Elliot Cup, and he was a semi-finalist in the “Top Gun” Mock Trial Competition. During his summers in law school, Matt interned for the Dallas County Public Defenders’ Office and interned for Judge Harlin Hale of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. Matt has consistently recovered some of the largest verdicts and settlements in history for his clients, which has distinguished him as one of the Top 100 Plaintiff Lawyers in Texas by the National Trial Lawyers Association, as well as a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a Thompson Reuters publication. Matt began his career at a prestigious Houston law firm, where he represented thousands of clients who were injured or tragically killed by dangerous pharmaceuticals and medical devices in multi-district litigation. He lives in Houston with his wife, Anna, who’s also a trial lawyer, and their children, Emma and Ben.
