QUALIFIED and COMMITTED to EXCELLENCE . . . Carol Perez has been a practicing attorney for over thirty (30) years. Previously Carol was a partner in a 50+ attorney law firm before taking on her present partnership role in 1998. During her career Carol has committed herself to fighting in court for the rights of victims of workplace accidents and protecting our clients long-term well-being and financial security. INDUSTRY RECOGNITION . . . Carol has been the acting Chair of the Workers Compensation Certification Committee since 2013. Additionally, Carol is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Workers Compensation Law Attorney, a member of the Hunterdon County Bar Association since 2000, and a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association since 1988. PROVEN in COURT . . . Carol has been fighting for the rights of her clients in court for decades and distinguished herself in the case of Geres v. St. Peter’s Medical Center, 93 N.J.A.R.2nd (WCC) 70 (1992), where she won a judgment for the Respondent in a workplace related slip and fall case. CHARACTER and COMMITMENT to COMMUNITY . . . Carol serves as a volunteer attorney for the Hunterdon Helpline, a non-profit organization whereby each month Ms. Perez makes herself available to the residents of Hunterdon County who are in need of legal services via the “Ask the Attorney Night” program. Ms. Perez was formerly a member of the Hunterdon Hispanos Board of Directors where she worked on the social, economic and political issues facing the Hispanic community of Hunterdon County.
