Aaron Thomas Borrowman

With over 25 years experience, Aaron Borrowman's intellectual property legal practice emphasizes patent and trademark law, including patent and trademark prosecution, litigation, license, assignment and other technology transfer agreements and client counseling. Aaron has represented clients ranging from large corporations, small companies and even individuals. Aaron has drafted and/or prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in the U.S. and around the world. Over time he has developed relationships with the U.S. Patent Office Examiners reviewing patent applications he has filed for clients. These relationships often result in faster time to issuance. Aaron's experience in patent litigation also helps in obtaining strong, defensible patents with broad claims. In the trademark field Aaron has experience in filing and registering hundreds of trademarks in the US and foreign countries, opinions, counseling and portfolio management as well as disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the USPTO. Aaron also has experience litigating patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition and false advertising claims for clients before the Federal Courts, TTAB and PTAB both enforcing his client's intellectual property rights as well as defending against such claims.
