About
I am a California attorney handling a range of civil and related legal matters, including disputes involving contracts, real estate, employment issues, and personal injury, as well as pre-litigation negotiation and resolution. My work has also included lease disputes, ownership interests, severance-related issues, and related business and interpersonal conflicts. I am currently building out an estate planning component to my practice. Earlier in my practice, I worked on criminal matters, including domestic violence cases, restraining orders, and pre-filing and post-arrest matters. During law school, I participated in the Practical Training of Law Students (PTLS) program, where I appeared on the record under supervising attorneys, and I continued to work under multiple attorneys in that capacity. I approach each matter by identifying the key legal and factual issues early and focusing on practical strategy, risk assessment, and efficient resolution where appropriate. I have worked on matters involving both plaintiffs and defendants, which informs how I evaluate leverage and position cases for negotiation or litigation. During law school, I also worked with the Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic and interned with criminal defense attorneys, assisting with case preparation and client advocacy. I served as a Law Review editor and earned a B.S. in Political Science from Northern Arizona University, a Master’s in Human Behavioral Psychology, an MBA, and a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
