Julia Childrey

Julia has been practicing law for over a decade. A graduate of the University of Richmond Law, she initially practiced family law and civil litigation before moving into claimants’ cases for workers’ compensation. Julia enjoys representing workers who have been taken advantage of by insurance carriers. She has been recognized by Virginia Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” for a decade, and was named to the “Ones to Watch” list by Best Lawyers. She serves on the executive committee for the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Inn of Court, and is the managing attorney for the Fredericksburg office of Reinhardt | Harper | Davis. Prior to law school, she completed her bachelor’s degree at Randolph Macon College in just three years with two majors and a minor, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa – the oldest and most prestigious academic honor in the United States. She has strong ties to her community, and has previously provided pro bono representation for Hanover Safe Place, a shelter and advocacy group protecting women against sexual violence and domestic abuse. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and being outdoors with her firefighter husband and family. She has two senior horses that she doesn’t ride, but they make pretty pasture ornaments.
