About
Michael Atter is an "A.V.-Preeminent" rate attorney. He is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Law and is a member of the Florida Bar and the Federal Bar-Middle District of Florida. After serving as an Assistant State Attorney in Jacksonville, he joined the Firm in 1981 and has served as Managing Partner since 1996. He represents injured persons in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases, and individuals in the areas of Criminal and Family Law. He is married with two adult children. His civic involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for Five STAR Veterans Center (Currently Board Chair), the GreaterJacksonville Area USO, and the Jim Jacobs Foundation. He was formerly in the Jacksonville Jaycees (Jacycee of the Year in 1083), and was President and Vice-President of Civic Round Table (1984-1975); Board of Directors for the First Coast Family Center (2000-2002), and served on the Board of Visitors, FSU College of Law (2003-2006).
