About

When the future of your child is on the line, you don't just need a lawyer—you need a relentless advocate who understands how to navigate the system and secure victories. For over two decades, LeTonya F. Moore, has been at the forefront of legal justice, aiding families in breaking down the systemic barriers that often overlook the needs of children with disabilities. As the Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Williams & Moore, LLP, I lead a formidable legal team dedicated to ensuring that these families are heard and their rights upheld. Licensed since 2002, I offer a unique blend of federal regulatory knowledge, courtroom prowess, and a human-centered approach to law. My legal career spans nearly 15 years of federal service, during which I worked at the U.S. Department of HUD, VA, and HHS. There, I enforced legal protections related to housing discrimination, disability rights, employment injustice, and public healthcare access. My passion lies in special education law. My dedication is deeply influenced by my father’s experiences as a bright Black child in segregated Alabama, who was misdiagnosed and neglected by a failing system. This drives my commitment to ensuring that parents can secure what every child deserves under the law. I assist parents in developing effective IEPs, Section 504 plans, and representing them in due process. We ensure they can approach school meetings with confidence, armed with the law and supported by a team that delivers results. Nationally recognized as a Top Attorney of the Year and recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award in Education Law, I am also a published contributor, public speaker, and strategist. I have been featured in media outlets like Authority Magazine for my efforts to advance neurodiversity inclusion and equity in education. If you are a parent who has tried every option, or if you don’t even know where to begin, I make one thing clear: You do not have to face this challenge alone. Schedule a Consult Now.
