Ashwin Kushwaha

I started my journey with the criminal court system in Clark County as a law student in June 2024 and became a part of Wheeler Boyd in November 2025. Before transitioning to my current role as a defense attorney, I worked as a prosecutor in Clark County District Court under my Rule 9 license as an intern. During that period, I managed hundreds of criminal cases, focusing on prosecuting misdemeanors and gross misdemeanor charges. This experience gave me meaningful insight into the processes and progression of misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor cases in Clark County. Today, I focus exclusively on DUI cases and related criminal traffic matters in District Court, as well as addressing the administrative aspects of these cases with the Washington Department of Licensing.
