Reed Smith

Reed J. Smith is a personal injury attorney at WGK Personal Injury Lawyers, where he represents individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others throughout Maryland. He joined the firm in November 2025 and brings a client-focused, detail-oriented approach to every case he handles. Reed is committed to helping injury victims navigate the legal process with clarity, confidence, and strong advocacy. Before becoming an attorney, Reed spent seven years working in the personal injury field, gaining hands-on experience assisting attorneys with all stages of litigation, from initial client intake through trial preparation. This extensive background gave him a deep understanding of how injury cases are built, how insurance companies operate, and what it takes to effectively advocate for clients both inside and outside the courtroom. His experience allows him to anticipate challenges and develop strategic solutions tailored to each case. Reed focuses his practice on personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, and buses, as well as slip-and-fall and premises liability cases. He is known for his thorough preparation, thoughtful communication, and dedication to achieving meaningful results for his clients while keeping their best interests at the forefront. Reed earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2025. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Towson University in 2018. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and is proud to serve clients throughout the greater Baltimore area and across the state of Maryland. A Baltimore County native, Reed values strong community ties and takes pride in helping local residents during difficult times. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens.
