George Gorman

I am George Gorman, a personal injury attorney with Weisberg & Weisberg, PLLC, proudly representing clients throughout Hampton Roads, including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Hampton, and other areas across the Commonwealth of Virginia. I have had the privilege of appearing on behalf of my clients in both state and federal courts in Virginia and California. As part of the firm’s personal injury team, I work with individuals who have been harmed due to the negligence or intentional acts of others. My practice encompasses a variety of serious injury matters, such as medical malpractice, wrongful death, traumatic injuries, and motor vehicle accidents. I also handle cases involving premises liability, assault, and defamation. Throughout my career, I have helped clients obtain substantial compensation through both settlements and litigation. I take pride in my client-focused approach, ensuring that everyone I represent is treated with compassion, responsiveness, and respect, no matter the size or complexity of the case. My legal background spans criminal law, corporate matters, landlord-tenant disputes, employment law, insurance issues, and judgment enforcement. This diverse experience enables me to identify legal and strategic aspects in personal injury cases that might otherwise be overlooked. I earned my bachelor’s degree in philosophy, with a minor in economics, from Rutgers University, graduating with honors. I then received my Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law, where I was inducted into the Order of the Coif. During law school, I externed for the Honorable Larry A. Burns of the U.S. District Court and served as a teaching assistant in the legal research and writing program. I am admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Additionally, I am a member of the Virginia Bar Association and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
