Jennifer Ward

I am Jennifer Ward, Esq., the founder of Ward Family Law, LLC, a firm based in Chicago, where I have dedicated over 20 years to focusing on matrimonial and family law. My commitment is to help individuals and families through the complexities of family law matters with both skill and sensitivity. Since 2005, I have also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois – Chicago School of Law, previously known as The John Marshall Law School, where I teach family law legal drafting. I have had the opportunity to present on matrimonial topics at The Latin School of Chicago Adult Education Program and was honored to be a featured panelist at The Lilac Tree’s workshop titled “Leaving a Long-Term Marriage.” Additionally, my insights on family law have been featured in publications associated with the Chicago Tribune. My professional experience is extensive, encompassing litigation, settlement negotiation, legal drafting, teaching, and public speaking, which allows me to provide well-rounded and informed representation to my clients. I earned my J.D. from the University of Illinois – Chicago School of Law, taking on roles such as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, a member of the Moot Court Council, a student ambassador, and a participant on a Moot Court Interscholastic Team. I also hold a Journalism degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia. My involvement extends to serving on the law school’s Young Alumni Council and co-chairing the Summer 2008 Social Event. Furthermore, I co-founded Ward Toy Scholars, a program that raised funds for reading incentives in inner-city schools.
