About
I practice exclusively in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights violations, police brutality, jail death, product liability, medical malpractice, and mass torts. For more than 20 years, I have been selected by my peers as an Indiana Super Lawyer, an honor presented to the top 5% of practicing attorneys in Indiana, as featured in Indianapolis Monthly and Super Lawyer magazines (2004, 2006–2026). From 2018 through 2026, I was recognized as one of the “Top 50 Personal Injury Attorneys in Indiana” by Super Lawyers. In 2006, I was selected by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association as the “Indiana Trial Lawyer of the Year” for my work on the high-profile police action shooting case of Leaf v. Sheriff of Marion County. I have also been named a “Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation” for my contributions to the legal profession and community leadership. Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. I frequently lecture on topics related to civil litigation, civil rights violations, and work injuries, and I have published numerous articles in national and local legal publications. My writings address subjects such as the interaction between work comp claims and third-party litigation, police brutality, jail death cases, and other civil litigation matters. Over the years, I have taken numerous cases to jury trial both in Indiana and across the country, including auto and truck accident cases, medical malpractice cases, civil rights cases, and premises liability cases. I’ve also secured multiple 7-figure and several 8-figure recoveries for my clients.
