Ashley Feldt

Ashley Feldt is an associate attorney in the Criminal Defense Division at Varghese Summersett. Drawing on her experience as a former prosecutor and accomplished trial lawyer, Ashley represents clients facing a wide range of misdemeanor and felony charges. Her time on both sides of the courtroom gives her a well-rounded perspective and a strategic advantage when building effective defenses. Prior to joining the firm, Ashley served as an Assistant District Attorney in Denton and Dallas counties, where she prosecuted numerous criminal cases and gained firsthand insight into how cases are evaluated and tried by the State. She also spent time in civil litigation at a large firm, representing corporate clients in complex matters involving trucking accidents, catastrophic injuries, and premises liability claims. While successful in civil practice, Ashley ultimately chose to focus her career on criminal defense, including practicing alongside a former Denton County District Attorney before joining Varghese Summersett. Ashley is known for her assertive courtroom presence, careful preparation, and strategic decision-making. She prioritizes clear communication and client education, ensuring those she represents understand the process and their options at every stage.
