Timothy C. Nies

I am an Army Ranger veteran, having proudly served as an Airborne Ranger with the U.S. Army’s 3rd Ranger Battalion, and I bring that same warrior spirit into my personal injury, Longshore and Defense Base Act injury law practice. My job is to deliver solutions for my clients and fight tirelessly for their rights. I am known for leaving no stone unturned in preparing cases and for working harder than opposing counsel at every stage of litigation. Clients and colleagues alike know me as a lawyer warrior committed, relentless, and driven to secure the best possible outcome. My clients all have my personal cell phone number, because accessibility and trust are central to the way I practice law. Since my very first position after law school, I have been a litigator, handling trials, arbitrations, and mediations. My experience in a special operations military unit sharpened my leadership skills, tested my ability to stay calm under extreme pressure, and instilled in me the discipline to act decisively when my clients need it most. Today, I apply those same qualities in the courtroom and across the negotiation table, standing shoulder to shoulder with my clients in their legal battles. I represent injured workers worldwide in Defense Base Act injury claims, as well as clients in Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act injury claims, personal injury claims, auto accident cases, and motorcycle injury cases, . Whether the case involves an overseas contractor injured under a U.S. Government contract or a victim of negligence seeking justice, I commit myself fully to the fight. I have been honored to receive recognition such as the Best of the Bar award from the South Florida Business Journal and inclusion in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite.
