Thomas Vaclavek

Thomas has over 22 years of experience serving clients with respect and compassion in family law and real estate purchases and sales. Thomas has the experience and skill to handle both complex and more routine matters. He comes from a divorced family, which inspired him to become a family law attorney, Guardian ad Litem and mediator so he can help other families who are facing these similar difficult experiences. Thomas is also divorced with two children from his previous marriage and is remarried with a step-daughter, and these experiences help him understand and advocate for his clients in matters including divorce, custody, post-decree, paternity, child support, maintenance, Orders of Protection, as well as real estate, estate planning and small business matters. Thomas has been honored as Member of the Year for the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, Best Under 40 and was given the Distinguished Service Award by the McHenry County Bar Association in recognition of his dedicated service to the community during his career. He has also been honored with numerous awards from various publications as one of the top lawyers in Illinois. In his free time Thomas loves spending time with his wife and children, watching sports and boating. He also enjoys travelling and is an avid photographer.
