Ty Farnsworth

Ty Farnsworth is a founding partner of The Farnsworth & Vance Firm, also known as The Farnsworth & Vance Personal Injury Law Firm, based in Anchorage, Alaska. As a dedicated Anchorage personal injury lawyer, Ty represents clients throughout Alaska who have been seriously injured in car accidents, truck and motorcycle accidents, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, slip and fall incidents, dog bites, and wrongful death cases. Ty’s passion for personal injury law is deeply personal. As a young man, he suffered a severe back injury while working in a rock mine. This experience left him with years of pain, limited mobility, and the challenges of navigating medical treatment and recovery. This firsthand experience allows him to understand what his clients are going through truly and motivates him to fight tirelessly for their rights. A graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law, Cum Laude, Ty began his career as a civil litigator and has spent years protecting Alaskans' rights. He knows how easily insurance companies and corporations can take advantage of individuals, and he works hard to ensure his clients receive the full compensation they deserve. Ty is admitted to practice before the Alaska Superior and District Courts, the U.S. Federal District Court, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. His approach combines compassion, persistence, and a deep understanding of Alaska’s people and culture. When he isn’t in the courtroom, Ty enjoys spending time outdoors—hunting, fishing the Russian and Kenai Rivers, and making the most of Alaska’s natural beauty.
