About
Jason Tremont believes clients deserve more than a polished résumé. He enjoys the day-to-day work of listening, learning a client’s story, and building trust. He is drawn to difficult cases where a person feels outmatched by a powerful company, medical provider, or institution, and he takes pride in standing up for people who have been wronged. Jason’s connection to Tremont Sheldon P.C. began long before law school. As a kid, he helped around the office, and his earliest lessons came from hearing his father talk about life in the courtroom. Jason later practiced alongside his father for seven years before his father passed away in 1999, an experience that shaped his work ethic and approach to clients. Raised in Trumbull, Connecticut, Jason attended Fairfield Preparatory School and Dickinson College, including a junior year in Bologna, Italy studying Italian and politics. He earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where time spent around prosecutors and ride-alongs clarified his decision to return to Connecticut and focus on helping injured people. He has handled thousands of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle crashes, malpractice claims, and other serious injuries. He also represents survivors of childhood sexual abuse, pursuing accountability for perpetrators and the organizations that enabled them. Jason understands serious injury personally as well, having undergone three neurosurgeries involving his neck and back. Outside the office, he enjoys cycling, charity rides, the Mets, the Jets, and Formula 1, and he spends plenty of time with his Airedale, Eddie.
