James Juo

James Juo is an experienced intellectual property attorney. He has successfully litigated various intellectual property disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He also has counseled clients on the scope and validity of patent and trademark rights. In addition, Mr. Juo also handles UDRP proceedings over domain names, and litigates cybersquatting claims under the ACPA. A registered patent attorney, as well as a former patent examiner, Mr. Juo has represented individuals, small companies, and large Fortune 500 corporations on IP matters. Mr. Juo has litigated cases at both the trial and appellate level, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment, Markman claim construction hearings, and jury trials in several U.S. District Courts. He also has handled several Federal Circuit appeals. Mr. Juo is admitted to a number of jurisdictions, including the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Mr. Juo is the President of the Colorado IP Inns of Court for the 2023-2024 term.
