Shaun Yurtkuran

Shaun Yurtkuran is an experienced Mississippi criminal defense attorney and former homicide prosecutor with nearly two decades of courtroom experience. Before founding The Yurtkuran Law Firm, PLLC, Shaun spent approximately ten years as an Assistant District Attorney in Hinds County, where he prosecuted serious felony cases ranging from armed robbery to capital murder. During his time as a prosecutor, Shaun quickly became known for handling complex and high-profile cases, including death penalty litigation and homicide prosecutions. That experience now gives him a unique advantage defending clients accused of crimes in both state and federal court. Today, Shaun focuses his practice on criminal defense and DUI representation throughout Mississippi.
