For over 25 years, my passion has been helping companies navigate the waters of patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and other forms of Intellectual Property. The firm I founded has been honored to secure in 500+ US Patents, hundreds of US Trademarks, and IP rights in over 60 Countries, on 6 Continents, for clients that range from the individual inventor to the Fortune 50. It is likewise an honor to have multiple clients place their trust in our work for two decades, and to continue to represent my first corporate client all these years later. I have been fortunate to have worked on some very significant products and technologies that are used by hundreds of millions around the world, to work side by side with some of the largest litigation firms in the country on complex intellectual property cases, and to meet and negotiate with foreign governments in Europe and the Middle East. But, some of the most rewarding work has come from counseling startups and venture stage businesses to develop local and global strategies for protecting their IP. In the past few years, I have been a speaker both domestically and internationally at various Intellectual Property, Accelerator/Incubator and Venture Capital conferences. I feel a sense of obligation to share my experiences (the good, the bad and the ugly) and excited to learn from the experiences of others so that we all grow together. Recent speaking engagements have taken me to Silicon Valley, Dubai, UAE and Eastern Europe.
