Shalini Natesan focuses her practice in the areas of Business Law, Hospitality Law, Municipal Law, and Real Estate Law. Ms. Natesan is equipped with over 10 years of experience in Corporate Law and has handled business matters, such as change of ownership, buy-sell agreements, drafting the necessary documents for all business and corporate formations and transactions, while also creating subsidiary entities to handle specific areas of businesses throughout New York State and the Northeast. Additionally, Ms. Natesan has worked in navigating very large commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase and sale of real property, rental/lease agreements, and bank representation. Shali has previous experience working on public finance transactions involving New York State agencies and authorities, industrial development agencies, local development corporations, municipalities and school districts. She also previously represented lenders in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 504 loan program. Ms. Natesan is the President of the Albany County Bar Foundation. Her position on the Foundation’s Board allows her to donate her time and expertise to the community and service people in need by being a part of the decision-making process. Ms. Natesan has served on the Board for the last three years as the Secretary and Treasurer and her new role as President allows her to continue her path of leadership and service in the legal field. Shali is active in the community as she contributes much of her time to a local non-profit organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region. Taking the role of a Big Sister, Shalini is a vital part of the organization’s mentoring program, as she volunteers to spend time with her “Little Sister” in order to make a positive impact on her growth and development as a responsible member of the community.
