Julia C. Evans

Julia is a passionate litigator practicing in commercial litigation and general liability insurance defense. She is also a skilled advisor to individuals and businesses in the cannabis industry, advising clients on cannabis related contracts, licensing, regulations, and compliance matters. Julia’s long-time passion for aiding the cannabis industry began by seeing how life changing cannabis was for her grandmother battling terminal cancer. Her dedication to helping people achieve their goals within the cannabis community is unrivaled. Julia understands the inherent risks with entering an industry that remains federally illegal and highly stigmatized, and hopes that through community outreach, education, and positive representation the barriers to businesses and individuals in the industry can begin to be broken down. She is creative, courageous, and an asset to those looking to begin or further their cannabis business adventures. During her time in law school, Julia was a student editor for the Cannabis Law Digest, where she diligently tracked and analyzed cannabis related laws and court decisions across the country. Julia received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Adelphi University and she is currently pursuing a master's degree in forensic psychology from the University of North Dakota. When Julia is not practicing law, she is an avid reader and yoga practitioner who loves making homemade baked goods in her free time.
