I am Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) in Civil Trial Law. NBTA certification is the only National Board recognized by the United States Supreme Court. This certification requires recertification every fie years. I have recertified for this qualification twice, the last time was in 2022. I am also AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. It is the highest level of peer rating a lawyer can earn. It means your legal peers think you have professional excellence for your legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards. I am also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates which membership is by invitation and the requisite qualifications. I have served as the Western Chapter of North Carolina President as well as chapter representative to the National Board appointed by the National President under two different National Presidents.
