About
Estate Planning - As older family members passed, Evan saw that good estate planning eliminated the need for probate and made life so much easier for those already grieving a loss. Real Estate Closings - Evan grew up with many lawyers, judges, and real estate investors in his family. At dinners and holidays, Evan would lean in to hear how those investors handled many different kinds of real estate deals, and he loved it. As a longtime member of the the Attorney's Title Fund, Evan helps close real estate transactions—helping people buy, sell, and refinance. Probate and Trust Administration - Growing up in a large, older family, Evan has seen a lot of family members pass away. The loss of a loved one was traumatic, and probate and trust administration added another layer of complication. After personally living through several of these, Evan began serving others in this area. Accidents and Injuries - At an early age, Evan learned from his father, a very experienced trial lawyer and former judge. His father would routinely share the stories of the day with Evan, not only to be an actively involved parent but also to seek feedback. Negligence and "damages" are issues of fact for a jury to decide. And kids are brutally honest. In 1999 (during Evan's first jury trial as part of a hard-fought personal injury case against Wal-Mart), Evan delivered the closing argument that helped return the seventh largest verdict in Broward County that year. He has handled many trials since and remains eager to help people seek justice for their injuries.
