Ryan Besinque

Ryan Besinque is a dedicated and experienced divorce and family law attorney based in New York City. With licenses to practice in both New York and California, Ryan brings a bi-coastal perspective and deep legal experience to every client’s case. Over the course of his career, Ryan has represented hundreds of clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence. He strives first for collaborative and communicative resolutions that reduce conflict, but is fully prepared to take a more assertive stance when circumstances demand it. Ryan prides himself on clear, consistent communication, responsiveness, and meticulous attention to detail. Beyond his private practice, he contributes through public service by assisting indigent individuals via the Manhattan Assigned Counsel Panel. A native of Santa Monica, California, Ryan earned his undergraduate degree in business administration (with a minor in psychology) from the University of Southern California. He completed his J.D. at the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating in the top third of his class. During law school, he served as President of Phi Delta Honors, was awarded the CALI Award in Family Law, and received the Outstanding Service Award from the Legal Aid Society of San Diego. He began his legal career in California before expanding his practice to New York in 2018.
