Michael Nesheiwat

Michael Nesheiwat is the founding attorney of The Law Office of Michael Nesheiwat, PLLC, where he represents clients in a wide range of legal matters, including real estate and business transactions, wills, trusts and estate planning, business formation, business and civil litigation, and criminal defense. Michael began his career at prominent law firms in New York City, where he gained invaluable experience handling complex and high-stakes matters. This background allows him to bring the skill, precision, and intensity of New York City practice to clients in the Hudson Valley—delivering sophisticated representation with a practical, cost-conscious approach. Over the course of his career, Michael has advised clients through multimillion-dollar real estate deals, intricate business disputes, and sensitive personal matters requiring meticulous planning. Known for his sharp advocacy, strategic thinking, and dedication to client service, Michael approaches each matter with the goal of protecting his clients’ interests and achieving results both in and out of the courtroom. In addition to his legal practice, Michael’s personal experience as a real estate investor—purchasing, renovating, and selling properties throughout New York—provides him with a unique perspective that enhances his ability to guide clients through transactional and litigation matters alike. Michael earned his B.A. from Vassar College, where he received the Vassar Scholarship for academic excellence, and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, he earned numerous distinctions, including membership in The Order of Barristers, the Smiley & Smiley LLP Award for Excellence in Trial Skills, and service as Notes Editor for the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. He also competed nationally as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society—Trial Division, sharpening the courtroom skills he continues to use in practice today.
