Kurtis opened his firm in January of 2021, since then he has represented hundreds of clients in a range of matters from Domestic Violence, to DUI, to Complex Drug Crimes, Sex Crimes and Violent Offenses. Kurtis is an experienced trial attorney with a fighter's spirit and an impressive understanding of the law. Kurtis began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney, where he was initially assigned to the third busiest courtroom in the state of Georgia. In that caseload Kurtis prosecuted well over a thousand cases, primarily comprised of Domestic Violence and DUI cases. Kurtis rose through the ranks being promoted to a new position where he handled several hundred cases ranging from Felony DUI, to Drug Crimes, to Crimes of Theft and Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon. Following this position Kurtis was offered to take over as a Special Drug Prosecutor assigned to the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team (CNT), where Kurtis acted as the legal advisor directly to the Agents and Supervisors of CNT. Through Kurtis’ experience and expertise as a prosecutor he has been asked to instruct law enforcement officers, agents, and prosecutors in several agencies.
