Benjamin Goldberg

I am a criminal defense attorney who is a "dual threat" -- handling cases on both the trial level and on appeal. I have tried dozens of cases, ranging from traffic tickets all the way up to murder. Similarly, I have appealed criminal convictions of all types, including oral arguments before both the Court of Appeals of Georgia and the Supreme Court of Georgia. When I was about 20 years old, I learned about all the wrongful convictions that have destroyed the lives of innocent people. As a result, I knew I wanted to be a criminal defense lawyer. I have devoted my career to helping people both charged with, and already convicted of, criminal charges. For the last 10 years, my practice has expanded to include representation for individuals seeking removal from the sex offender registry. I have petitioned for this relief on behalf of approximately 50 people, and have been successful in almost every case. I live in Smyrna, GA and my primary office is on the historic Marietta Square. I am married with a young daughter, and when I am not helping people with their legal problems I enjoy cooking, hiking, working out, crossword puzzles and watching professional football.
