I joined the Hamilton Firm after spending 18 years practicing law with a firm that primarily focused on defending insurance companies and their insureds. Since 2007, I have represented a wide range of clients, both Plaintiffs and Defendants, involved in civil litigation. Early in my career, my work concentrated on litigating Professional Negligence and Tort Liability claims. In Professional Negligence cases, I successfully defended healthcare providers, including Physicians, Practice Groups, and Hospitals, as well as Attorneys. In Tort Liability matters, I defended clients involved in motor vehicle accidents, trucking negligence, premises liability for hospitals and apartment complexes, and general liability claims for businesses. My efforts in these areas have led to numerous summary dismissals and favorable defense verdicts at trial. As my career progressed, I expanded my practice to include representing clients in complex business litigation. Alongside my defense work, I have also represented Plaintiffs in a variety of claims, such as personal injury and sexual assault cases against multinational corporations. Through settlements or trial judgments, I have recovered millions of dollars for my clients, including a judgment exceeding $4,000,000.00. My experience working “on both sides of the v” has given me a broad skill set and a unique perspective on cases. This perspective, developed through representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in a wide range of lawsuits, allows me to understand the challenges faced by both sides in litigation. In 2018, I expanded my practice to include Mediation. Since then, I have helped parties resolve disputes in personal injury cases, estate matters, and complex business litigation.
