Pete Friedmann

Peter Friedmann is a founding member of The Friedmann Firm, LLC, which has offices in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Toledo, Ohio. He represents employees throughout Ohio in state and federal courts, focusing almost exclusively on employment law. His practice includes discrimination, harassment, FMLA interference and retaliation, wrongful termination, unpaid wages and overtime, employee misclassification, severance negotiations, and whistleblower claims. Pete is licensed to practice in all Ohio state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He has secured significant verdicts and settlements for employees and is known for his work ethic and commitment to protecting workers’ rights. He earned his B.A. from Ohio University’s College of Business in 2008 and his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 2012, where he received the Outstanding Service & Leadership Award and was named to the Order of Barristers for excellence in oral and written advocacy. Pete has been recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” named one of the Top 3 Employment Lawyers in Columbus by Three Best Rated, and listed among the Best Employment Lawyers in Columbus by Expertise.com. He serves as a Board Member of the Central Ohio Association for Justice, Employment Law Section Chair and Trustee for the Ohio Association for Justice, and is a member of the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association and the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.
