After nearly a decade defending insurance companies against work injury claims, I realized that insurance companies are horribly oppressive places and if they are this bad for the employees, they must be authoritarian, oppressive, and tyrannical for injured workers. I decided that people injured at work, in the course of living their lives, needed my help much more than insurance companies did. I jumped ship and I have been representing injured workers since 1997. I am a Workers' Compensation Specialist recognized by the State Bar of California. I also hold a Registered Nursing degree, so I know medicine as well as law. And I have an MBA from the University of California at Davis.
