While he is active daily in mass tort litigation, he remains closely involved in client communications and cases that involve everyday people. His drive for justice is rooted in his upbringing in Duval County, Florida, and Harris County, Texas — specifically the neighborhoods of 3rd Ward, Acres Homes, and Greenspoint. Growing up in these communities gave Larry a firsthand understanding of the struggles faced by underserved populations, fueling his determination to protect the rights of people in both urban and rural settings. That perspective deepened as he now raises his children in rural Texas, further shaping his appreciation for fairness across communities. His dedication deepened after his own personal experience requiring legal representation against a corporate giant. Before founding Taylor Made Law and becoming a Partner at The Cochran Firm, Larry began his legal career in public service, working in both state and federal government roles, including as a prosecutor and as Legal Advisor to Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson. He earned his Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2008 and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
