Robert S. Clark

Robert Clark discovered his passion for law while studying at the University of Texas at Austin, where he served as a legislative aide in both the Texas House of Representatives and the Senate. His time at the Capitol inspired him to pursue a deeper understanding of the legal system, leading him to earn his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston. There, he was active in the advocacy program and served as president of the Student Bar Association. After graduating, Robert began his legal career with a New York-based firm handling insurance defense cases in Houston. It didn’t take long for him to realize that his Texas roots called for a different approach, one focused on personal connection, honesty, and practical problem-solving. He soon opened The Clark Law Firm in downtown Houston, where he continues to serve clients across a wide range of civil and family law matters. Robert’s practice primarily focuses on family law, including divorce, custody, and child support cases, as well as civil litigation, personal injury, and business disputes. He is known for his candid, results-oriented style, helping clients understand the realities of their situation and guiding them toward the best possible outcomes. Beyond his legal work, Robert and his firm are dedicated to giving back to the community, from organizing relief efforts after Hurricane Harvey to collecting household items for families in need. When he’s not in the courtroom, Robert enjoys exploring Texas, hunting, fishing, and photographing the landscapes he loves. A lifelong student of Texas history, he is an active member of the Houston Archeological Society and an advocate for the preservation of the state’s cultural heritage.
