I am a former 1st chair Assistant District Attorney with the Bexar County, Texas, District Attorney's office Public Integrity and Cyber Crimes Division with extensive experience in internet crimes against children, such as online solicitation of a minor and possession of child pornography, crimes committed by public servants, elected officials, government employees, and offenders having a professional license. As a prosecutor, I obtained a landmark sentence against a child predator. I was also a felony Assistant District Attorney assigned to Texas Anti Gang Center (TAG)- San Antonio, Border Prosecution Unit—Human Trafficking Attorney, where I worked with undercover law enforcement as primary lead counsel on human trafficking and human smuggling cases. I have experience working with with State, Federal (HSI, FBI, DEA, ATF), and Local law enforcement, and I have law enforcement level training in dark web, financial crimes, money laundering, FinCEN, cell phone search warrants and extractions, digital evidence, and criminal street gangs. In fact, I helped write search warrants for law enforcement when I was a prosecutor. I have extensive jury trial experience, and I am also registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a trademark attorney.
