Marc A. Burton

Marc A. Burton is a partner at The Burton Firm, P.A., a litigation practice based in Aventura, Florida. He represents individuals, businesses, and organizations in state and federal courts throughout Florida across a range of practice areas, including commercial and business litigation, employment disputes, defamation, First Amendment matters, political and election law, education law, and real estate litigation. Burton has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for multiple consecutive years and was named to the Miami-Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section's Top 40 Under 40 list. The Burton Firm holds an AV-Preeminent peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and Burton is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. His courtroom experience includes a month-long jury trial resulting in a $155.7 million verdict, federal appellate practice in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and First Amendment litigation involving voting rights, election administration, and free speech. He received his J.D. from Boston College Law School and his undergraduate degree from New York University.
