About
Jeff Lewis is a North Carolina workers’ compensation attorney who brings a rare combination of analytical precision, litigation experience, and client-focused advocacy to injured workers’ claims. His background in data analytics and consulting informs a meticulous, evidence-driven approach to case preparation. Education & Early Career Jeff grew up in southwestern Ohio and earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he majored in Decision Sciences. After college, he began his professional career in database marketing before transitioning into software and data management consulting. His consulting career took him across North America, working with nationally recognized companies including Ralph Lauren, General Motors, FedEx, 3M, and other large organizations. This experience sharpened Jeff’s ability to analyze complex systems, manage large data sets, and identify critical details—skills that now translate directly into his legal practice. Seeking a career that allowed direct service to individuals, he chose to pursue law and enrolled at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Workers’ Compensation Practice After graduating from law school, Jeff began practicing as a plaintiff-side workers’ compensation attorney, representing injured employees in claims involving serious workplace injuries. Early in his legal career, he achieved the highest settlement in his firm’s history, earning membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum—a distinction reserved for attorneys who have secured seven-figure results. Jeff later gained experience at a nationally recognized defense firm, where he developed insight into how employers and insurers evaluate and defend claims. This perspective strengthened his ability to anticipate defenses and build stronger cases on behalf of injured workers. In October 2025, Jeff joined Taylor | Serbin Injury Lawyers, where his practice focuses exclusively on workers’ compensation cases.
