Richard Symmes

Richard J. Symmes, Esq. is a Seattle native and the managing attorney at Symmes Law Group, PLLC. Mr. Symmes currently focuses his practice on bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, debt settlement and real estate matters. Mr. Symmes is an experienced bankruptcy advocate, having filed and prepared over one thousand bankruptcy petitions which resulted in bankruptcy discharges for his clients, negotiated millions of dollars in debt settlement savings for his clients and has also advocates on behalf of his clients in various real estate purchase and sale matters. Having obtained a managing real estate brokers license, Mr. Symmes can act as your real estate broker in any transaction or can be your attorney to review residential purchase and sale transactions or draft real estate documents as needed. Prior to forming Symmes Law Group, PLLC Mr. Symmes was an associate attorney at two respected law firms in Denver, Colorado where his practice primarily involved bankruptcy, business and insurance defense. Mr. Symmes is a graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he was the Vice President and Community Director of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society as well as a Staff Editor for the University of Denver Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Mr. Symmes earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Seattle where he double majored in economics and communications.
