Aaron Oppegard

I’m Aaron Oppegard, an attorney at Suhre & Associates, where I focus my practice on criminal defense across Kentucky. I’m licensed to practice in all Kentucky state courts, as well as in the federal courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. I was born and raised in Lexington and earned my law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating a semester early. My legal career began at a DUI defense firm in Louisville, and I later served as a staff attorney in both the Fayette County Circuit Court and the Pulaski County Judicial Center. Before joining Suhre & Associates, I spent three and a half years practicing law in the Lexington office of a well-regarded mid-Atlantic law firm. I’m committed to standing up for individuals facing powerful institutions, working to protect my clients’ rights and advocating for those who are often seen as underdogs. I’m proud to continue that mission at Suhre & Associates.
