Bradley J. Chapman

In 2018, the Missouri Legislature revised its expungement laws, opening the door for people with a criminal history to have a new chance at life. Bradley Chapman undertook the arduous task of deciphering these new expungement laws and immediately put his learned expertise to use. Today, Bradley has helped numerous clients in the St. Louis metropolitan area and in the state of Missouri obtain jobs, find housing, and restore their rights by expunging their criminal history. Bradley continues to spend his mornings and afternoons in court fighting for the fresh start his clients deserve, having won cases against the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Missouri Department of Revenue. Bradley has earned the respect of his peers and judges alike for his tenacity in the courtroom, advocating for those who have had their life limited by the justice system. Through extensive experience, Bradley has developed a deep understanding of the processes and consequences of having a criminal record and the effects expungement can have on his clients’ lives. Working in conjunction with the General Counsel of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s St. Louis District Attorney, Bradley helps his clients navigate the murky waters of what will show on background checks and purchasing and possessing firearms post-expungement. Bradley received his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law in 2019 and has since practiced in St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Lincoln County, Jefferson County, Franklin County, Pike County, and Warren County.
