About
I was born in Indiana and raised in Wisconsin, where my interest in law and justice first took root during high school. Although my initial career path led me into teaching and graduate studies, my deep-seated passion for helping others eventually guided me to the legal profession. I graduated summa cum laude from Regent University in 2012 and then joined Teach For America, where I worked as a high school English teacher in Mississippi. After earning a Master of Arts degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2018, I pursued my legal education at the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating with honors. During law school, I served as a Research Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal and clerked for the South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee. Following law school, I clerked for the Honorable William McKinnon in the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court and gained trial experience in both civil and criminal cases while working with a civil litigation firm in Rock Hill. Now licensed to practice in both North and South Carolina, I focus on personal injury and workers’ compensation, where I am committed to helping clients secure the compensation they deserve. When I’m not practicing law, I enjoy remodeling my historic 19th-century home, hiking, cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers, and spending time with my wife and children.
