Ikenna Uzoegwu

Ikenna Uzoegwu is an Associate Attorney committed to helping clients navigate complex legal matters with clarity and confidence. He focuses on clear communication, practical solutions, and protecting his clients’ interests. His background in compliance, investigations, and litigation support provides a strong, detail oriented foundation. Ikenna earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, where he participated in Moot Court, Trial Advocacy, and Phi Alpha Delta. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Political Science, from the University of Houston Downtown, where he served on the NAACP Executive Board and was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. During and before law school, Ikenna gained experience in legal research and case preparation as a Research Assistant and intern with the East Baton Rouge Public Defender’s Office. He assisted with memoranda, case organization, and trial preparation. He also brings experience in compliance and risk management, having served as a Compliance Manager in the medical transportation field and working in corporate loss prevention. This background allows him to approach cases with a thorough, results driven mindset.
