I am Madelyn Eastland, a dedicated Associate Attorney at Stange Law Firm, based in our Indianapolis, Indiana office. I am equipped to represent clients across Marion County and the surrounding areas. I pursued my legal education at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, where I obtained my Juris Doctor in May 2020. During my time in law school, I volunteered at the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic’s Project GRACE Expungement Help Desk. There, I assisted individuals with the expungement process, conducted legal research, presented a grant proposal, and provided services at community workshops. Prior to my current role at Stange Law Firm, I served as a Staff Attorney at Indiana Legal Services. In this position, I acquired a broad range of civil legal experience across housing, family law, and Medical-Legal Partnership teams, which included conducting discovery reviews, engaging in negotiations, and representing clients in court. My earlier roles include positions as an Associate Attorney at two different Indiana-based law firms. In these roles, I advised clients on various legal matters, conducted discovery reviews, negotiated case outcomes, and represented clients in diverse court proceedings. Additionally, I served as a Public Defender with the Marion County Public Defender Agency, where I represented indigent clients in criminal matters, advised them on constitutional rights and legal procedures, negotiated plea agreements, and appeared in various court proceedings including trials and motion hearings.
