Lisa’s career at Sommers Schwartz commenced immediately following her graduation summa cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. Transitioning directly into a full-time litigation role, she has committed her professional life to representing those harmed by healthcare providers, defective products, and sexual predators. Her track record includes successful litigation in state and federal jurisdictions nationwide, with significant experience in Michigan, Illinois, and North Carolina. Her professional accomplishments are deeply informed by her personal history. While her childhood penchant for debate and rigorous argument suggested a future in the legal field, Lisa understands that effective lawyering requires more than verbal agility. Prior to her legal education, she held various minimum-wage positions that instilled in her a profound work ethic and a lasting respect for the workforce. These experiences fueled her ambition to serve as a voice for those silenced by trauma or systemic imbalance.
