About
Serving as an associate within the firm's Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Litigation Groups, Lenore Zakhem advocates for families and individuals harmed by medical errors, general negligence, and similar misconduct. Following completion of her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Oakland University, Lenore earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. During law school, she enhanced her academic training through extensive practical experience and campus involvement. Her activities included moot court competition, client representation as a student attorney within the Juvenile Appellate Clinic, and community service leadership as vice president of Lawyers Lending Hands. Lenore dedicated two summers to clerking for Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Mark Switalski and gained additional experience clerking at a boutique family law firm throughout her third year of law school. Upon graduating and successfully completing the bar exam, she joined a high-volume civil litigation practice as an associate attorney. There, she refined her written and oral advocacy capabilities, developed her discovery and motion practice expertise, and advanced cases through trial.
