Giuseppe Pietro Izzo

I am a partner at Smith Immigration Law Office, P.C., where my journey began as a law clerk in August 2019. I was promoted to Associate in 2020 and later had the honor of becoming a partner in February 2026. My work is driven by a deep dedication to the firm’s clients and the legal profession. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Honors degree cum laude from the University of Ottawa, focusing on Classical Studies and minoring in Italian Language and Culture. Following that, I pursued a Master of Arts in Public Ethics at St. Paul University before obtaining my Juris Doctorate from Regent University School of Law. Outside of academics, I served as a reservist in the Canadian Forces, an experience that shaped my commitment to discipline and service. Since entering the legal profession, I have had the privilege of working on and winning numerous immigration and criminal defense cases. I am committed to providing clients with hard work, dedication, and careful attention to detail, recognizing the importance of guiding them through some of life’s most challenging situations. I am licensed to practice law in Georgia and Washington, D.C., and I represent clients across the United States under federal immigration laws. I am honored to assist individuals and families in navigating complex legal matters.
