Peter P. Leventis IV

Peter Leventis is a partner at Smith, Born, Leventis, Taylor & Vega, where he focuses exclusively on South Carolina workers’ compensation and mediation. A former U.S. Secret Service Special Agent, Peter brings discipline and determination to his legal practice, representing injured workers in complex claims involving occupational disease, brain injuries, repetitive trauma, radiation exposure, and more. He has tried hundreds of cases and handled appeals before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Peter earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is also a certified Circuit Court Mediator and author of From Accident to Award, a guide to South Carolina workers’ compensation law.
