Eric Skidmore

I have been helping families of Northeast Ohio in the practice areas of divorce and family law since 1989. I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. Before attending college, I worked in the law firm of my father Archie W. Skidmore in the 1970's. I obtained undergraduate, graduate, and law degrees and clerked in my father's law firm during the summers in the 1980's. I also worked in the Ohio Senate as an intern while at graduate school at The Ohio State University. I have two brothers who obtained their law degrees [1984,1986] and we all returned home to Akron, Ohio by 1987 to practice law. I have practiced family law since 1989, in particular, high asset divorce cases. The divorce and dissolution process can be difficult to navigate through the court system. I am attentive to details and an experienced and compassionate advocate. With every case, I know it provides client's with a new opportunity. I bring a cerebral, professional and civil approach to family law.
