Matthew Falkenstein

Matt Falkenstein has been an attorney with Skapik Law Group since January 2021, having first joined the firm in 2020. Since entering the legal profession, Mr. Falkenstein has been a dedicated and zealous advocate for clients whose rights have been violated. He is committed to pursuing fair and just outcomes, bringing a strategic and client-focused approach to every case. Mr. Falkenstein has experience across a broad range of civil litigation matters, including cases involving excessive force and police brutality, police misconduct, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour class actions, and catastrophic personal injury. He is known for his creative legal thinking and tireless work ethic, always prioritizing his clients’ needs and collaborating closely with the Skapik Law Group team to develop innovative strategies in complex cases. He has represented clients in the Superior Courts of California in San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Orange counties, and has argued before the California Court of Appeal. Mr. Falkenstein is also admitted to practice in all Federal District Courts in California as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Falkenstein earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2020, where he currently serves on the Alumni Advisory Board. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, his hometown. He is an active member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association and participates in various professional organizations throughout Southern California.
