Michael Andrew Simko

I’m a lifelong Floridian who grew up in Jupiter, Florida. After graduating from Jupiter High School, I earned my bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida. I then attended Stetson University College of Law, where I received a Certificate in Advocacy from the nation’s top-ranked Trial Advocacy Program. During law school, I gained experience working at a civil law firm that handled various legal matters, including personal injury claims. I also worked at the Prosecutor’s Office in Clearwater, Florida, where I began trying cases. After passing the Florida Bar Exam on my first attempt, I started my career as a prosecutor in Palm Beach County. As a prosecutor, I managed thousands of cases, ranging from felonies to DUIs, many of which went to jury trial. I served as a Lead Prosecuting Attorney in County Court before being promoted to the Felony Division. Today, my practice is primarily focused on representing victims of personal injury accidents and defending individuals facing DUI and other criminal charges. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Cara, and our two boys.
