About

I am an associate at Silverman Thompson, working within the business litigation and real estate practice groups. My background includes a variety of experiences in both the public and private sectors. After completing law school, I served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mark W. Crooks in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. In that position, I refined my research, writing, and analytical abilities while assisting with both civil and criminal cases. As a member of the Baltimore legal community, I am often recognized for my approachable demeanor and my ability to foster strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and members of the judiciary. I have also been acknowledged for my clear and effective communication, both in writing and oral advocacy. During my time at the University of Baltimore School of Law, I gained practical legal experience through internships and clerkships with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission, Judge Douglas R. M. Nazarian on the Appellate Court of Maryland, and Council, Baradel, and Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A. These opportunities allowed me to develop my skills in client advocacy and deepen my understanding of the law. While in law school, I served as Symposium Editor for the Law Review, where I organized and executed a day-long symposium on cannabis law. This event featured panels on business, criminal law, and social equity issues, showcasing my organizational and leadership skills while engaging with complex legal topics. Additionally, I worked as a student attorney at UB Law’s Saul Ewing Civil Advocacy Clinic. Before pursuing my legal career, I earned my B.A. from Towson University, where I was a Division I student-athlete on the varsity women’s soccer team.
